Salman

The latest rumor that Salman Khan has refused to do a Rajshri productions' film has upset the Barjatyas. They are miffed with the news report that Salman Khan has rejected their offer to do a film with them because he was not given a lead role.

Rubbishing the news report, Rajjat Barjatya, brother of Sooraj Barjatya and one of the directors of Rajshri Productions says that their relationship with Salman Khan is as good as it used to be during Sooraj's directorial debut, Maine Pyar Kiya. He said, "It's completely baseless and untrue that Salman has refused to work with us. We still share a wonderful relationship with him and we value it a lot. I call such piece of news a figment of a creative mind."

Asked why Salman and Barjatya's haven't come together after Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, he says, "If we have a script for Salman, we will definitely sign him for the film. If he hasn't appeared in our films, it doesn't mean that we don't share good relations."

Earlier there were news reports which suggested that Sooraj Barjatya met Salman Khan and narrated the story of his film but Salman Khan refused to do it when he realized that it was not a lead role. According to the reports, Barjatya didn't want to offer the lead role to Salman because the lead character was supposed to be younger and Sallu didn't quite fit that look.
